Meet Shannon
With over 25 years of experience in the beauty industry, Shannon Houk started The Brow & Skin Company in 2016.
From barber to hairstylist to nail artist, Shannon has spent her career perfecting different types of beauty treatments and has certifications in various eyebrow solutions such as microblading, powder brows, scalp micro pigmentation, and combination eyebrows, to name a few.
Having trained with some of the leaders in the beauty industry including Will Anthony, Nady B Beauty Bar, The Art of SMP, and more, she is a passionate beauty expert that believes in helping her clients win back their confidence. Shannon also believes in the power of natural and undetectable permanent makeup, which she offers through The Brow & Skin Company.
Keeping up with top trends and new techniques in the beauty industry that help her clients get high-quality results, Shannon is deeply dedicated to her craft and makes sure that each client receives the individualized experience and eyebrow solutions they deserve.
Meet Kara
Kara has nearly two decades of experience in the beauty industry. She began her career in 2006 as a licensed cosmetologist and has since built a reputation for precision, artistry, and a commitment to enhancing natural beauty.
As a permanent makeup artist and licensed piercer, Kara combines advanced technical skill with a thoughtful, client-centered approach. Her work is rooted in creating results that are timeless, customized, and confidence-boosting, with a strong emphasis on safety, education, and attention to detail.
Outside of the studio, Kara is a proud mom. When she’s not working, you’ll find her cheering on her kids at their soccer games, traveling with her family, or spending time with their giant black lab, Cole. Her love for family, creativity, and connection is reflected in the welcoming, personal experience she strives to give every client.
